Sir. Good morning ..i installed koha 16.05 using live DVD in my library.. i entered data also.. now one of my friends said the Koha which is installed through Lived DVD is not useful to upgrade the latest versions and not useful for library automation. which is only for learning..
Is it true? all my data is waste ?

As suggested you may install fresh Koha and restore the backup on new installation
